Domaine Helena is a boutique, family-owned winery in Lake County, just minutes north of Calistoga. Nestled between Mount St. Helena and Cobb Mountain, our high-elevation vineyards are rooted in volcanic soils that shape wines of depth, freshness, and minerality. Certified Organic, and Certified Sustainable

Domaine Helena

We craft small-lot Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux varietals and welcome guests by appointment for intimate tastings in a scenic setting beyond Napa’s crowds.

A Distinct Sense of Place

Our estate vineyards sit at elevation, where warm days and cool mountain nights allow for slow, balanced ripening. The volcanic soils—shaped by the region’s geologic past—bring structure and precision to the wines, expressing a terroir that is both powerful and refined.

Farming is guided by organic and sustainable practices, with a focus on preserving the natural character of the land and each vintage.

The Wines

Our wines are produced in small lots, with an emphasis on Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux varietals that reflect the structure and nuance of volcanic terroir. Each vintage is crafted with restraint, allowing the vineyard to speak with clarity and precision.

Explore the Wines

Our Mount St. Helena vineyard is officially recognized as volcanic terroir, following independent laboratory validation and certification by the VINORA Association.

2023 “Bloc Cinq” Cabernet Sauvignon

“Old-vine Cabernet Sauvignon has a unique flavor profile and a specific hue in the glass, taking you back to another time and place. This wine is red berried and concentrated, with silky tannins and some grip. Nuances bring forth dried tobacco leaf, cocoa, cedar, and star anise. Cellar until 2032 or aerate and enjoy now” Hidden Gem. —Tonya Pitts April 2026
